Un-Cruise Adventures

Headquartered at historic Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle, Washington, Un-Cruise Adventures offers an alternative to traditional cruises by taking guests into areas inaccessible to large ships and on excursions that are exclusive, private, and unavailable to most other travelers.

In 1997, American Safari Cruises pioneered yacht cruising in Alaska. InnerSea Discoveries enjoyed its inaugural season of expedition-style active exploration of Southeast Alaska’s Inside Passage in summer 2011. In January 2013, the company changed its name to Un-Cruise Adventures.

Un-Cruise Adventures offers several styles to choose from: Active Adventures; Luxury Adventures; Heritage Adventures; and Charter Adventures—each designed to provide a unique experience. Wildlife is eye-to-eye, culture is one-on-one, and small-group explorations are life-changing.

Active Adventures are launched from three expedition vessels: 60-guest Wilderness Adventurer; 76-guest Wilderness Discoverer; and 76-guest Wilderness Explorer. Destinations include Southeast Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands.

Luxury Adventures are operated aboard four of upscale yachts: 22-guest Safari Quest; 36-guest Safari Explorer; 64-guest Safari Voyager; and 86-guest Safari Endeavour. Destinations include Southeast Alaska, Columbia & Snake Rivers, Coastal Washington & British Columbia, Mexico’s Sea of CortĂ©s, and Hawaiian Islands.

Heritage Adventures operate from the 88-guest Safari Legacy, a replica Victorian-style steamer. Destinations include Southeast Alaska and Columbia and Snake Rivers.
